As a player, you can log in and enter stages that you’ve created or been given player access to. You’ll see the on-stage player tools that aren’t visible to the audience; these tools allow you to manipulate digital media in real time on the stage in order to present live performances.
To enter a stage as a player:
- Log in to UpStage from the Foyer.
- You arrive at the Stages list.
- Locate the stage you want to enter and click on the green “ENTER” button at the right.
If you are in the Media list of the Studio, you can enter a stage by clicking on its name in the line of a media item that is assigned to that stage:
If you are in Stage Management, click the green “ENTER” button at top left next to the name of the stage, to enter.
You can also enter a stage directly from a link on the Foyer page (if it has been set to be visible), from a link on another webpage or a link in an email. A QR code can also provide a direct link to a stage. If you aren’t already logged in, a pop-up window will appear.
If you click on “Player Login”, the login window will open:
Enter your username and password. Click “Login” and you will enter the stage as a player (if you have player access to that stage).
